About
Eden’s unique background as a gifted contemporary dancer and multi-instrumentalist informs his intuitive approach and distinctive musical style. His extensive experience as both a collaborator and recording artist enables him to navigate various artistic disciplines - Film & Television, Dance/Theatre, Installation Art, Interactive Media, consistently pushing the boundaries of genre and expanding the possibilities of musical expression. He works from his home studio Fate Amenable To Change Studio in Brisbane, Australia or on location.
My sound production sanctuary takes its name from a Culture ship-mind in Iain M. Banks’ Excession—a nod to the boundless curiosity, intellect, and audacity that define both the fictional universe and the creative process itself.
A favorite quote:
"One hundred idiots make idiotic plans and carry them out. All but one justly fail. The hundredth idiot, whose plan succeeded through pure luck, is immediately convinced he's a genius."
This philosophy weaves into my approach to writing music. It’s a reminder to embrace being that so-called idiot—to experiment fearlessly, take bold risks, and trust in the intrinsic value of what I create. Success, I've found, often begins with audacity and the courage to venture into the unknown and a willingness to laugh along the way.
